ATD Puget Sound Case Study
Many organization who have not updated their website in a while have not kept up with the mobile requirements of their membership. Typically, 40% to 50% of website traffic are from mobile devices. This was the case with the Puget Sound ATD chapter.
One of their primary objectives was to meet the needs of their membership through a responsive mobile design. Redesigning the website with a new Wild Apricot responsive theme accomplished this objective. Plus, it allowed for members to register for events, renew subscriptions and review email all from the convenience of the smartphone.
Working with their leadership team to perform a thorough review of the member database records also allowed them to clean up many expired, lapsed and outstanding renewal memberships. Implementing best practices for managing member records also provided a more solid foundation for capturing and managing membership revenue.
Implementing a rotating sponsor banner provided an additional source of review for the organization.
As the Communications Director for a chapter of Association for Talent Development, we were looking for a partner to help us upgrade our website. We found with Q2 Digital a responsive team with the knowledge of Wild Apricot to ensure our vision was achieved.
Q2 Digital supported us all along the way and are still by our side to support us going forward. Their team successfully worked through many technical challenges we had with a legacy of content and CSS within our site.
We couldn't have done this website redesign without their expertise and support. I highly recommend them for your challenges with Wild Apricot site management and design projects.
